The World’s Best Reading Programme
I Can Read is created by educational psychologists with the following qualification: Ph.D, BA, MA, Hons, DipEd, Master of Letters, Literature and Psychology majors, whose thesis are based on research into reading acquisition and with over 15 years of fieldwork.
I Can Read creators are also the authors of “Dealing with Dyslexia and Reading Difficulties” published by Pearson Education.
A proven programme trialled in over 30 Singapore schools and backed by statistical data. Over 300,000 success stories in Singapore and overseas.
I Can Read is certified by Education Alliance Finland for its pedagogically sound and high standards of curriculum and methodology, while adhering to learning science principles to promote and support learning.
The I Can Read reading programme teaches students to combine letters and create invariant sounds, empowering them to take control of their progress. The I Can Read reading programme helps new readers overcome initial struggles such as combining letters into blended sounds. Knowing how to pronounce words is key to overcoming this. Our students start with simple, straightforward words and then progress to more difficult phoneme combinations, building upon their successes word by word.
ICR Academy’s Primary Curriculum is designed for students to build a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through clear instruction, guided practice, independent application, and continuous evaluation, students focus on all 4 essential skills. The exercises and activities stimulate their creativity while preparing them for exams. These techniques and exercises will prove essential when they undertake the PSLE.

Read more 6:55pm on 18th May, when i was waiting for my daughter. Because my 3 yrs old son said he was tired and wanted to sit down inside. I saw there were not many people so took him in. A little while, the receptionist came over to ask us “ are you for assessment?” I replied “no, we are waiting for his sister” She said “ wait outside” even without a PLEASE. More rudely, she opened the door to drive us aways. To make sure she opened the door for us not the students ( because at the moment, it was already 7pm and students would come out soon), i stood up and walked outside. Then she closed the door. Later, when the students came out the classroom, she opened the door again. It was not first time she treated our parents in that way. I understand she has to keep the centre quiet but she should not talk and act in that way to humiliate us, esp when i was with a toddler. So disappointing, maybe that is why my daughter dun want to go to class everytime
