We are a brain development programme using abacus & mental arithmetic to stimulate the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Mentalmatics™ , a mental arithmetic school provides specialised training on 2-hand 4-finger abacus and mental arithmetic. We deliver a well-rounded curriculum in a supportive environment that enables children to fully develop their cognitive abilities. We facilitate each child’s development at his/her own pace and lead each child to discover his/her passion for numbers, and applying his/her mental arithmetic abilities to solve Mathematics problem-sums in school.
Through a distinctive Mentalmatics™ 2-4 System™ , we help our children develop strategies for using their mental arithmetic abilities to solve arithmetic sums and applying them to Mathematics problem-sum solving in school.
Our ability-based curriculum means that each child learns and progresses at his/her own pace.
In order to give K2 children a head start in their Primary 1 Mathematics, our programme introduces the fundamental Maths concepts so children know how to apply such concepts when they progress to Primary 1.
Our lessons are engaging and the learning environment is lively and conducive. Children are encouraged to constantly do their best..

Your primary school child will be taught Math concepts and their applications based on the curriculum by the Ministry of Education. Your child will be exposed to concepts before they are introduced in his/her primary school, so the learning process is more efficient. The teacher is devoted and patient, taking time to explain concepts and homework to parents too. Kudos to Teacher Rachel! Read more had zero knowledge of Abacus. However, my child gradually love to count with or without abacus and proudly said Mathematic is one of his fav subject at his pre-school ! The school really cater for individual level and aptitude plus make sure parents or guardians know how to count with abacus and help the child with his homework! That’s not easy and I just wish i started him earlier lol! The school also offers make up classes and even help coordinate the learning journey by offering extra practice materials during our long holiday (upon request if of course).
