The OSJ Programme
Our Lower Primary Programmes aims to help your child establish a strong Math foundation by introducing new topics, concepts and skills in an effective yet engaging way.
Our Upper Primary Programmes aims to enhance and equip your child with critical higher order thinking skills, extensive problem-solving techniques, as well as comprehensive understanding of key concepts tested at PSLE.
Our Lower Secondary Programmes ensures a smooth transition of skillset and knowledge from primary to secondary school and to build a new foundation. Key secondary school Math that involves real-world context (such as exchange rates and price comparison) will also be focused on, generating their interest in learning math which naturally, translates into better grades.
Our Upper Secondary Programmes focuses on preparing our students for the national exam. We will expose them to all types of exam questions and work with them on those that they are weak in until they have no qualms doing it on their own. With the exposure and guidance we provide, our students will be able to sit for exams confidently. The skills and techniques taught are built on their understanding rather than memorisation which readies them for any question.
Instead of putting students of mixed abilities into the same class, we will give your child a diagnostic assessment at the start of the programme and strategically place them into the respective stages based – Emergent, Intermediate and Advanced based on their current level of progress and learning needs. This allows the math curriculum to be taught in the best level of understanding, guiding the child effectively. With respectively levelled classes, education moves at a student-directed pace. A child will thus never feel that a lesson is moving too fast or too slow for them, suiting their aptitude.
