Whenever I encountered issues solving difficult maths questions, he would be the one I sought out for help, and I can confidently assure you that he hasn't encountered a single O level math question he can't solve. Teacher Daniel also provides step-by-step breakdowns of how to solve questions in the most efficient way possible, and cares for his students' results, as he has repeatedly offered his knowledge outside of class time via messaging. If you feel like you need assistance in furthering your understanding of o level maths concepts, I recommend Teacher Daniel.

This is more like a homework group. The teachers don't really teach much. Each teacher manages a few kids who are learning different things. You can imagine how much time... Read more are learning different things. You can imagine how much time they can allocate to the subjects your kid is learning. They just briefly explain to the kids and then most of the time the kids are on their own. If the kids make any mistakes, they will just point to the correct answers. In the end your kid will not learn much. And there is almost zero communications with the parents. I would rather spend more on reputable learning centers.

Read more looking back, we truly appreciate the math fundamental grounding SAM gives to the child. Grasping math concepts in later years become easier albeit questions get more challenging. Also, lessons are conducted in small groups setting that encouages active participation from both the child and teacher. A good foundation goes a long way and I’m glad to have found SAM Toa Payoh that is like-minded :)
