Read more during Pre-Reading Level. My girl started with Teacher Mei and was replaced with a new teacher with an impressive CV but couldn't handle children. My girl is always enthusiastic about attending Teacher Nicole's Reading class. However, today we were informed that she would be transferred out and be replaced by a new teacher with 2 years of working experience. My girl has progressed a lot with Teacher Nicole, especially in the last 3 months. I cannot thank her enough. Her teaching is effective and I Can Read has lost a good teacher that has helped lived up to it's mission. The school had arranged a transition over 2 weeks where the new and old co-teach. That is how rush the change is effected. The new teacher has an unnatural accent that needs to be toned down as my girl cannot understand her. "Was it a two or three that she meant?" I hope the management has come to realize that children need time to adjust to a new personality and teaching style. Moreover, this class is preparing for Primary 1. The transition can negatively impact students' learning and academic progress, as it takes time for them to build a new rapport with the teacher and adjust to the new learning environment. Looking at the owner's responses to our concerns, I'm sure parents can form your own impression of how the centre is run. Parents should seriously take this feedback into consideration should you wish to minimize disruptions to your child's learning progress.

My daughter finally settled down with Teacher Nicole, and today we received a letter stating that she will be transferring to another branch. The transition period is only two weeks,... Read more to another branch. The transition period is only two weeks, which means just two more lessons. What?! How can kids at this age transition so quickly? This is their last year of kindergarten which is an important year! How can they change teachers halfway through? This will definitely affect everything. Fyi. The fees are not cheap. Disappointed
