Read more several text exchanges, a time slot was proposed, but we never confirmed it as our daughter had a scout camp that day and we didn’t make any payment either. The following week, ready to re-engage, we expressed our continued interest. To our surprise, we received an extremely rude and sarcastic response from Mr. Alvin Loo, scolding us for not informing him that we wouldn’t attend. There was no acknowledgment of the fact that managing three kids and a busy professional life can sometimes make things hectic. He then returned our money without a word of understanding or courtesy. Such an unpleasant and authoritarian tone… I truly hope his communication with students is more respectful. otherwise, I feel sorry for them. There are much kinder and more constructive ways to handle a simple scheduling misunderstanding.

Additionally, he fosters a positive learning environment by cracking jokes with his students. Questions are always welcomed, and there's a real sense of encouragement.
