Description
Arkki was founded in Finland in 1993 and is the world’s leading school of architecture and creative education for children and youth from 4 to 19 years old. We have opened our doors to Singapore with the aim of building a systematic and progressive creative education ecosystem for children and youth, connecting them to their peers throughout ASEAN, Asia and with Finland through international camps, projects and exchange programmes.
In Finland, the Arkki curriculum has since integrated into the national extra-curricular creative program and is endorsed by the Finnish Ministry of Education & Culture. Arkki is also certified by the Finnish National Agency for Education to export the Finnish education know-hows to the rest of the world. For over 25 years, Arkki has organized thousands of courses and workshops for more than 20,000 children in more than 20 countries.
Arkki provides creative education by using architecture & design as holistic real-world phenomena to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) subjects.
Arkki, the National Creative Extra-Curriculum of Finland, prepares children for the creative digital economy by equipping them with 21st century skills (6C’s — Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Complex Problem Solving, and Computational Thinking). It’s hands-on project-based curriculum focusses on developing Higher Order Thinking (HOT) and key digital skills, to allow our children to create, innovate and work with and not for machines, in the future.
In its field, Arkki is globally one of a kind: no other institute in the world offers as wide a curriculum in creative education for children and youths. Arkki Singapore is currently offering these distinct creative education curriculum:

Read more small, kids are encouraged and guided to express their ideas through various hands-on fun activities. Building models is definitely one of their favourite activities! Great place not just to learn architecture, but also to help kids develop their creativity and build up confidence! 👍
