In 1993, the first Berries World of Learning School was founded with a mission to teach Chinese to children in a way that is as exciting as it is educational. We believe in the power of a Fun-Filled, Multi-Sensory approach. Through our innovative and interactive teaching methods, we blend the worlds of fun and education, crafting an experience we like to call ‘Serious Fun’. Over the past few decades, Berries has grown to over 20 outlets across the island. As we move forward, we anticipate continuing our mission to nurture the children of tomorrow.
At Berries, our vision extends beyond just mastering the Chinese language. We also instill essential life values in children. Through the journey of learning Chinese, we hope to inspire children to become better versions of themselves everyday, to radiate more light and warmth in the world they grow up in today.
Berries World of Learning School is dedicated to creating an educational ‘paradise’ that transcends conventional language learning. Our goal is to curate a holistic and fulfilling experience for children by unravelling the mystery and beauty of Chinese language and culture.

So far, my kids' chinese language has been decent. More importantly, they enjoy the classes (pre schoolers). I am not sure how well this will value add at primary... 2 years of experience with Berries Toa Payoh. It is difficult to engage with the class teacher. There was no updates on learning progress of my child. No efforts made... Read more updates on learning progress of my child. No efforts made by teacher to update parents on important feedbacks (Except recent new teacher 王老师，she took initiatives to call and update）. When there was a P6 Prelim Test at the centre, parents were not notified on the test dates and results. Response time in Whatsapps is slow, at times only responded on the next day afternoon. Calling the center for help - you have to try your luck.

Berries defies the laws of physics. The amount of Chinese learning they fit per class is unsettling. To an external stationary observer, only one hour has passed. But within the... Read more stationary observer, only one hour has passed. But within the time-space warp of a Berries classroom, apparently an entire week of full-time Chinese instruction has transpired. Hard to know how they did it because children are sucked into Berries but no information escapes. The teachers are genetically modified mutants who are cryogenically preserved during non-classroom hours so that all their life energy can be aimed in a concentrated beam at the enrolled.

Conveniently located within SAFRA TPY. Berries' curriculum is fun and engaging. Even kids who are not interested in Chinese or speak the Mandarin language are able to pick up fast.... School teachers are really caring and patient with the kids as well. Definitely recommend others to send their kids here for Chinese classes.
