With Hua Cheng teachers’ guidance and course curriculum, he was awarded the Good Progress Award for Chinese Language (Chinese Language & Culture Fund) this year and improved from failing Chinese in P5 to achieving an AL 5 for Chinese for his PSLE. Through this period, I have observed tremendous improvement in his Chinese writing which he himself acknowledged it too. The curriculum is robust where they teach students phrases that are within their understanding capability, instead of giving way too difficult ones prematurely. Most importantly I want to commend the teacher who has seen us through all these while. 洪老师 is patient yet strict with the students, to ensure there is learning progress. She communicates closely with parents and points out areas of concern promptly. We really trust her and know that our son's learning is never compromised.
