During these sessions, he adjusts his teaching style to suit each student and breaks concepts down step by step. These have really helped me clarify my doubts and gain confidence in GP. Read more help me improve in General Paper (GP) and whether it was too late. However, Mr Liew’s lessons helped me to quickly learn a new foundation for me to begin working on my GP skills. Through his first few lessons, he was able to teach new structures and techniques in a way that was easy to understand and practice on my own. From there, his lessons are also extremely interesting to listen to. Not only is he able to identify common issues in students thought processes, his knowledge of current world affairs helps me to better understand what he is explaining as he uses relevant and realistic examples. Furthermore, his live writing exercises help to simulate what students thought processes should be like during exam conditions, this greatly benefits my understanding of using various examples or skills during times practices. His lessons are always well prepared and MrLiew always make sure all his explanations are well elaborated in a way that is clear and easy to understand for everyone. MrLiew is also very patient and takes time to explain the mistakes that I and other students make. Before illume, I was very weak in GP and did not understand how to properly structure my essays, AQ and the SAQ formats, but thanks to MrLiew, I have a much much netter understanding especially for SAQs which really helped me improve in GP and i jumped 3 grades from mid years to prelims. MrLiew has greatly helped me in this short span of a few months!
