We have run a Cosy Tuition Centre in Yishun Junction 9 Mall since 2018
Being small, we only take in a small pool of students. That means we value each individual student and give better attention to each one. You will find that all our tutors remember their students by name.
With over 10 years of educational experience as a Senior Lecturer in Singapore Polytechnic, Mr Kwok (aka Mr Chen) founded iMatter in the belief that with the right tutor to guide a student, the student can keep up with his school work, do better in his assessment and enjoy his learning journey.
Being the Principal Tutor, he personally mentors his students in the subjects of Science (Primary & Secondary), Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Professional and dedicated tutors who are patient & passionate, showing genuine concern for the student. Our tutors provide adequate explanation and examples before the student attempts bite sized exercises of a similar nature. Discussion follows each chunk of exercises to wrap up the student’s learning before proceeding.

Read more I searched for a tuition centre and found imatter which was in a convenient location near home. By EOYs, I scored A1 which brought my overall up to B3! I recommended imatter to a bunch of my classmates and through imatter, we were all able to improve significantly. Thank you Mr Kwok!!

Shoutout to Mr Kwok for being such a patient teacher during my time here, and I am sincerely grateful for his help that made me find my interest in physics again!

honestly when I started attending the tuition I wasn't expecting much from it but man was I wrong, I learn so much from Mr Kwok and Mr Chong in a... Read more so much from Mr Kwok and Mr Chong in a span of two years or so. Their energy and teaching methods have always manage to make the lessons enjoying and lively. Both teachers are very patient with their students, they don't hesitate to help us out whenever we are struggling with the questions. I personally feel that I have improve in my subjects more than before. Thank you for your hard work!!
