Description
Hi fellow parents! I’m Andy, founder of Learning Voyage, currently pursuing Masters in Mathematics for Educators at the National Institute of Educators (NIE). Over the past 10 years, I have personally coached more than 500 students and helped previously borderline scorers use a disciplined approach to shoot their scores up to A1/A2s (and at the same time develop a love for Math)… even if they were previously failing the subject, scoring E8s and F9s!
Ultimately, my aim is to bring students on a journey to help them understand and build better foundation in Math concepts, help them recharge their confidence and inculcate a love for Maths!
At Learning Voyage, we have created a ‘Plug-the-Gaps’ technique that allows us to identify, focus and fill in the existing gaps that has been causing students to struggle in getting an “A1/A2” in Maths.
Over the past 10 years as an educator, parents have been approaching me…asking me about the ‘secret formula’ that their children can apply immediately to score better for their Maths exams…
This 3-step proven technique is developed based on 10 years of tutoring experience* and 4 years spent in developing my own customised teaching materials.

Read more adaptability, humour, as well as his absolutely boundless patience in his willingness to explain concepts and questions however many times we may need, and even going above and beyond to link certain points of confusion to other common misconceptions that we need to take note of. On my favourite chicken rearer -- Runxing's -- life, I feel tremendously enlightened with every lesson. Some mornings I walk into the centre feeling like one of three smelly cobblers, and yet I'd leave feeling like the ancient chinese strategist Zhugeliang with the sheer amount of physics knowledge that Mr Teng has siphoned into my cranium. Moreover, with simple, logical explanations and analogies, i find abstract concepts such as electricity easy to understand and memorise. For example, I was tearing my hair out, using the long way to determine the force exerted by two wires on each other as their currents travelled into the paper, when just then, the angellic voice of Mr Teng rang out in the classroom that 'gay wires attract' and I had a revelation on the joys of electricity in that very moment. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my experience in TSA with Mr Teng as my teacher, and highly reccomend his lessons to straggling souls in need, and those of superior knowledge sinultaneously.

Read more enjoyed his charismatic demeanour and meaningful lectures. His stern and strict approach towards his students drilled me into a more disciplined individual. In secondary school, I took classes from Mr Yu. He made class interesting with his humorous antics and drawings. Other than the content in the syllabus, Mr Yu shares interesting FYI about chem and bio. This fuelled my interest in the subjects even to the extent of researching things about bio in my free time. My chemistry and bio managed to maintain at the A1-b3 level in sec 3.
