Description
It all began with a dream and a stirring in the heart of Margaret Nonis. She pursued her calling to love kids and turned it into a reality, with the inception of LoveKids on 7 April 2004. Drawing her inspiration from the bible quote, “Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is Love,” (1 Corinthians 13:13) LoveKids was born.
At the heart of her mission, she sees the need for every child to shine with Confidence and EQ skills in all aspects of life. What better way to do this than to instill it in our kids’ very experience of learning?
Children are introduced to the importance of accurate speech for the real world. In the classroom, our kids get used to public speaking through drama-based activities. Each week, they are required to present what they have learned through Creative Drama, when they assume different characters and personas.
Our kids develop their public speaking skills further through formal group presentations. They learn the importance of their individual voices when presenting as a group. They also cultivate EQ skills like teamwork and active listening. Most importantly building confidence!
Programmes available:
- Specialized speech and drama for infants, toddlers, playgroup, N1
- Speech and drama with public speaking for Nursery and K1

Both my boys (P6 and P3 this year, 2021) have been with Love Kids since 2015. The educators at LK are all very caring, nurturing and professional with how they... Read more are all very caring, nurturing and professional with how they go about teaching the kids. I have seen my older boy transformed from being shy and soft-spoken to a confident and mature young man. Each weekend, my boys look forward to going to Serangoon Gardens to attend lessons at LK Academy. Over the years, we have also maintained very relationship with the educators at LK Academy. Frequent communication between us, parents, and the teachers made sure that what our kids went through during the lessons are being made known to us. If you want your kids to build their confidence in speech presentation, LK Academy is the place to go to. Speak to the educators there and I am sure they will be very willing to share their teachings.

Not adapted for kids whose school is not following Singaporean holidays. Very unprofessional manager. -Teaching: Great quality, end of year show was great. Small classrooms. My kid is in a school which is not following Singapore school holidays. Love Kids follows Singapore school holidays. *First they want to you to join, the manager even tell you you can do make up classes providing you let them know in advance of the missed classes due to school holidays. I agreed and paid. *2nd term, you ask about the make up classes, no answer, you ask again and the manager tells you you can't do make up classes. You remind him of what has been discussed previously, and he says he never said that. Then he agrees "exceptionally" that you do the make up classes but you have to agree to lose 42SGD for each class missed. Which other art/music/drama class does that? None. They all offer make up classes. Even though they don't, they should say it at the first meeting. *3rd term, they don't even offer you to join the class because they want to have kids following the Singapore holidays. So they tell you there's no space for you kid anymore. You go on the waiting list. Now tell me if it's "loving kids" to reject them this way because of a timetable difference? Even though there is a strategy change inside the school, they should communicate, be honest about it and explain it. Rather and hide it, lie and not answering to your messages like they do. It is totally unprofessional. My kid is a very quiet and nice kid and never had any trouble with her classmates nor teacher and he really loved his teacher. Now he is very sad not to see his friends nor teacher again.
