Read more My children and I moved to Singapore from Indonesia to join my husband, who relocated for work. My son, then 10 years old, needed to take the AEIS test to enter a local school here. The test was only in Math, but the material was quite challenging due to curriculum differences. To catch up and prepare for the exam, my son initially attended math tuition at four different centers every day. However, he eventually asked to stop and wanted to continue only at MasterMaths. He felt most comfortable with the teaching style, especially with his favorite coach, Ms. Syahira. I saw his confidence in tackling math problems grow significantly while he was learning at MasterMaths. During the exam, he was able to complete the AEIS questions calm and smooth. He not only passed but achieved the best possible outcome: he was accepted into Primary 4, which was appropriate for his age. Honestly, we had mentally prepared for him to be placed in a lower grade, as it's reportedly common for children from overseas, especially from Indonesia, when entering local schools here (because of the gap in curriculum differences). A huge thank you to the coaches, his classmates at Tampines East, and the entire MasterMaths team for providing such a great learning materials and positive vibes and influence on my son's learning journey!
