i want to share about my mathematics teacher, mr loo. mr loo is not like your ordinary p6 math teacher who rants about how to calculate an area of a circle.... Read more rants about how to calculate an area of a circle. mr loo is different, different as in a good way. i joined his tuition class at punggol plaza's mind stretcher earlier this year, in march. i didn't very fancy the fact that i had to transfer from my previous mind stretcher class which started at 5 in the evening, to this class that starts at 9 in the morning but upon meeting mr loo i realised that he wasn't exactly how my previous tuition centre's zone manager described him. ''mr loo is a fierce and firm teacher'' was what she said. i realised that he was not that, sure he screams at random moments just to get our attention, but that's just how he is and that's the only way i would want him to be. mr loo's commitment for teaching us has definitely paid off, before joining his class i was a lazy student ( haha, i still am) who was scoring 56 marks for almost every test paper and examination i had in school, but after a few lessons with him, my results improved to a 79 1/2 which is quite a difference i would say. i am so grateful for a teacher like him, he's weird, kind, goofy and strict and that's what i love about him. he does not scream at students or humiliate them for not understanding a certain topic he explains it clearly until they get it and remember it. he's one of the most down to earth teacher i have ever met. thank you mr loo for your commitment and.... happy teacher's day!! -samantha!

My teacher's name is Mr Jeffrey Kuek. He has helped me a lot by teaching me new methods to answering questions and the oral examination. He told me and the whole class... Read more and the oral examination. He told me and the whole class to use the PEERS technique as it is very effective. One thing like about my lovely teacher is that he is very funny and makes jokes during class to make lessons more interesting. Overall, he is a really nice guy and is funny but is serious when he needs to be.
