Read more with the students, only asked about their scores, without even looking at the mistakes or areas that needed improvement. We had already complained about their Science and Math teachers. As parents, we need to know the learning progress so we can better support our child’s studies. After the complaint, all we got was one phone call, and after that, there was no further follow-up at all. For Primary 6 students, I do not recommend coming here. The teachers at this tuition center are careless, irresponsible, and just go through the motions. My child attended English, Science, and Math here, but we eventually switched Math to another center and took Chinese at a different one. Only after experiencing another Chinese tuition center did we realize the huge difference — their teachers were excellent at updating parents, and within the first week they could identify the child’s weaknesses, focus on improvement, and progress was seen immediately. The Toa Payoh branch is really very poor.

From learning with you, I learnt more words. From your teaching, I was able to score almost full marks in my English continuous writing examination. Before I was in Mind stretcher, I did not know much vocabulary. But now, I am learning more vocabulary. I learnt words that my classmates do not know. For example, when I learnt the word “Tongue lashing” in primary 3, I knew the meaning of tongue lashing is "when someone scolds you very angrily", and when I asked my classmates they didn’t know the meaning of tongue lashing in primary 4. If there were no teachers like you, to teach Mind stretcher students, we would not learn quite well or maybe not well at all! The world needs teachers like you! So, please stay in Toa Payoh Mind stretcher to teach us. You also teach us with kindness, and your voice is very gentle and calm when you teach us. So, thank you again! I really appreciate it. Throughout my academic career as well as my personal development, she has been of great assistance to me. I used to find it quite challenging, and I often had feelings of failure. However, my instructor never stopped trying to help me. With great patience, she walked me through each difficulty step by step and encouraged me to continue to practice. Because of her encouragement, I was able to steadily improve my performance in the subject and become more self-assured. Additionally, my instructor has instilled in me the importance of principles such as persistence and compassion. Always, she reminds us that making errors is a necessary part of the learning process and that we should never be hesitant to attempt new things.
