Our focus is on providing specialized Chinese tuition services to the community, catering to preschoolers and students up to 16 years old. At our learning center, we prioritize Engagement and Effective Learning.
Our 华文阶梯 (My Chinese Steps Learning Programme) offers a systematic approach to mastering the Chinese language. We believe in making the process of learning Chinese both systematic and engaging. Read more the lessons are structured and it helps to strengthen their knowledge. The teachers are approachable and passionate esp. Mrs Ler. The admins are also friendly and helpful. I also like how accommodating MCS is when it comes to rescheduling of lessons.

My children have attended My Chinese Steps for over 6 years now. Teacher Ler and her team have been very passionate in helping them to cope with the school's Mother... Read more passionate in helping them to cope with the school's Mother Tongue Chinese studies, and more importantly, creating an interest in the language. The teaching is methodical and focused on doing well for school exams, including Oral and Listening Comprehension. The environment in the Centre is conducive and students enjoy being there with their friends.

My son joined Mrs Ler since he was P1 and throughout his primary school journey. He stopped a year during S1 and go back again in P2 as Chinese is... Read more S1 and go back again in P2 as Chinese is really his weak subject. I get to know few of his friends also go back to Mrs Ler when they entered S2. The material provided in the center is beyond the school text book and 活动本 so the student is able to explore more and it will bring interest in their learning journey. My son and his friends are the pioneer batch of Mrs Ler students and most of them still seeing each other weekly in Mrs Ler class even though they are in different school. Mrs Ler always conducts additional lesson before the exam so the students are well-prepared for their exam. During school holiday she also provide flexibility schedule for her students knowing most of them will be travelling. Little kids in the photo have become teenagers now 😅🥳

Me and my family are very impressed with the tuition centre. The class curriculum is well structured and paced, the teaching pedagogies are sound, with a good plethora of teaching... Read more teaching pedagogies are sound, with a good plethora of teaching tools and aids to facilitate learning (e.g video learning, written and oral homework etc). Prices are also competitive. Of special mention is my son’s teacher, Ms Jin who has shown a lot passion and dedication in her teaching as well as patience with my son and the other students. A big thumbs up to the centre!
