Read more teacher is not only racist, she is also bias and talks bad about her student behind their back. once when she was teaching about heat, she was teaching us about how black was a good absorber of heat, then she suddenly talked about how she could “feel the heat when black person walks in” (???) we were all genuinely shocked she said that but we didn’t dare to say anything. recently, my friend (who gets targetted a lot, we’ll call her jenny) was wearing a singlet to class. when jennie’s friend was cold, jenny was being nice and told the teacher if they could lower the temperature of the air-con instead of saying “okay” or “are you feeling okay?” the teacher defensively replied “i know why! your wearing to revealing!!! you know what your wearing is my bra!” 1. that was really unnecessary and it mad jenny feel really uncomfortable 2. ⁠she didn’t lower the temperature of the air con there are also many times where she is biased towards the student in “better” schools (ie students in ip stream, in ‘top’ schools like mgs or acs). there was once when she was teaching about electrons(?) which was a subject only in the ip course! so many of us in class were confused and did not understand the subject. hence, we had to ask many questions. this mad the teacher get overly aggressive and said we weren’t “paying attention” however, the most recent even that happened made us dislike her the most. what happened was jenny was sick and could not attend class, so we were discussing about what we thought could had happened to her. someway or another, we started to discuss about what we did over the recent public holiday, and we were talking about us hanging out with jenny and how she was playing around, the teacher overheard our conversation and HAD to budge in. she heard us talking about jenny’s “chaotic” personality and had some words of her own to say. (fyi we love the fact that jenny is chaotic) the teacher said the following “ y’all can stand her? you know like (story we shared) there are rules we have to follow, but when we don’t follow rules, we cause trouble to people, then how do y’all say it’s not wrong?? then everyone can do whatever they want!….” 1. we told her many times that we liked the way jenny was like and we didn’t judge her for it 2. ⁠why r u even judging your students???? as a teacher i thought you would be more educated!! overall, this tuition is a really good tuition and i would recommend it to everyone except this teacher. i won’t call out names but her class is on fridays at 6:15

My p5 son was having serious troubles with his math and science in school the past 2 years. We came across Perceptum at our doorstep and we signed him up... Read more across Perceptum at our doorstep and we signed him up hoping that things will improve and we were lucky that things changed for the better our few months with the centre. Would like thank his teacher Mr Quek for teaching him well and also constantly communicating with us parents with my son's performance in class. Would also love to have him teaching my son for p6 next year. Thanks so much for the patience and efforts given to my son.

Perceptum is a great tuition and it really improves my math and science scores. Really recommended for kids who are struggling with both subjects. Wish I had gone here earlier,... Read more on practical/experiments. My children love their teachers whom are very nice and kind to them. There's additional academic support time slot to support my children if they need more help.

I am so glad to enrol my son Aston for Math and Science lessons at Perceptum Yuk Tong Centre. Not only his grades have improved, I notice the tutors Ms... Read more only his grades have improved, I notice the tutors Ms Leong, Ms Chan and Ms Goh have put in extra effort to make the lessons interesting by giving out little gifts to motivate him for participating and doing well in class. A special mention to the support staff as well, especially Doreen who has helped in many ways such as enquiries on class availability amongst many other things. Keep it up!
