Read more secondary school, he wanted to try studying on his own. However, as time went by, he began to struggle with Mathematics. One day, I happened to see a few teenagers wearing RMSS T-shirts near Parkway Parade, and that was how I came to know about RMSS. Fortunately, my son’s school schedule aligned perfectly with Mr. Phua’s class timing — and that turned out to be a real blessing in disguise. Since joining Mr. Phua’s class, my son no longer needed to buy extra assessment books. The worksheets and homework provided by Mr. Phua were more than enough. By diligently completing them, he gradually found Math not only easier to understand but also more enjoyable. His school grades have improved steadily, and ever since learning from Mr. Phua, he has been consistently achieving A1 in Mathematics. I am truly grateful to Mr. Phua for continuously motivating and guiding my son to do his best. All these positive changes would not have been possible without Mr. Phua’s dedicated teaching and thoughtful encouragement. We are sincerely thankful for everything he has done.

The extra lessons have been instrumental in addressing his weaker areas, giving him the confidence and assurance to excel. Kane's progress from PSLE AL6 to S1 End of Year A1 is a testament to his hard work and Mr. Phua's effective mentorship. Maths has become his favourite subject, and we're grateful for the positive impact both Mr. Neo and Mr. Phua have had on Kane's academic journey.

Consistent weekly practice at RMSS has helped my boy build discipline and achieve an A1 in his Sec 1 EOY exam. At the start of the year, she was struggling and scored a D7 in her WA. We thus signed her up for lessons at RMSS in June. Thanks to Mr. Phua's dedication and support, she achieved an amazing A1 in her End-of-Year Math exam! Mr. Phua is a very dedicated and responsible teacher who is clearly well-versed in his craft. He explains mathematical concepts clearly and effectively, that helped our daughter understand topics she had long struggled with. Beyond improving her grades, he helped her gain confidence in herself – she now believes that she can do well in Math. What truly sets Mr. Phua apart is the extra effort he puts in for his students. He encouraged those who scored below an A to stay back after class or come earlier for additional practice to close up the learning gaps and this was very useful for our daughter. Nearing the End-of-Year exams, he even arranged extra classes – both physical and via Zoom – to ensure his students were well-prepared. He was firm about making sure they completed their assigned homework before attending these sessions so that the time spent would be meaningful and productive. Mr. Phua doesn’t just teach – he inspires. His genuine commitment to helping every student do better makes all the difference. We are truly thankful for his guidance and support!

Mr Alman has a unique way of making even the toughest concepts clear and enjoyable, and he always encourages his students to do their best without feeling pressured. The little touches like treating the kids to pizza after long token lessons, which really shows how much he cares about them beyond the classroom.
