Read more School of Concepts and there were pretty much a lot of great reviews by parents who had sent their children there. I decided to enrol my child there and I must say, the results were really good. After joining them for 2 terms, my child is able to read better and his phonetics have improved.

At the assessment, the interaction with the staff & teachers were great, with the team trying their best to accommodate to my concerns and schedule. She just completed a term and we are happy with the marked progress - the teacher has been wonderful and encouraging so my daughter does not dread the lessons, and in fact enjoy it! As a parent, I appreciate how the teachers spend time after EACH class to clearly communicate to me what was taught, what my child struggled with, and how we can guide her at home to reinforce her learning. Also, classes are kept small, and there is no homework - as the classes utilises worksheets which are completed during the lesson itself. At home, we simply re-read the words/stories with our child. I find this less stressful and more effective than pushing her to complete pages of homework that I actually am not very competent at guiding her though. Grateful for the nurturing environment at SOC!
