He never belittles students for not understanding his solutions and has multiple explanations to the same question. I appreciate that he has an open whatsapp policy and we can send in questions outside of lesson time. He is patient, knowledgeable, funny and really good at math.

Read more from secondary 3 to secondary 4. My teacher, Mr Tan, is very knowledgeable and his method of teaching made every lesson very fun and enjoyable, allowing me to learn a great deal. He even offered additional lessons just to make sure I was on the right track with my learning due to the tight time constraint. With his guidance, I managed to get a grade above what I expected to get for my bio exam. Would highly recommend the class.
