Teacher Eeva Learning Centre (TELC) is an eponymous Chinese enrichment centre founded by Eeva Chang (张美香), an accomplished educator, award-winning TV producer, and famous Radio DJ. At TELC, we are committed to helping children achieve three core learning objectives.

​In addition to mastering the MOE Chinese syllabus, children will:
be able to speak and write Chinese effectively
appreciate the beauty of the Chinese language
achieve good grades and lifelong competency in Chinese.

Our Sensory Visualisation Approach engages the 5 senses of children when they read, speak and write. Children are first challenged to visualise the connotations (hidden meaning) of words – what words describe in terms of looks, sound, taste, smell, and feelings – before they are equipped with the vocabulary to express what they have visualised.

The richer the picture they are able to conjure in their minds, the deeper they will comprehend a passage, and the better they will express themselves in speaking and writing. Visualisation is and has always been the approach Teacher Eeva takes when she teaches parents and MOE teachers how to teach Chinese, and when she teaches children how to learn it.
