The Academic Workshop

We believe that we provide much more than tuition or enrichment classes. While it is true that grades are important things, we believe that they are not the only thing that defines our students.

​We believe that rigour and structure are important, but we believe that creativity and inspiration are vital.

We believe that lessons should be filled with facts, but we hope that our students walk away knowing how to use these facts effectively and compassionately in their daily lives.

We believe that classrooms are not merely areas for study, but spaces to be challenged, dream big and be nurtured.

We believe that teachers should not spoon-feed, but facilitate and encourage, and more importantly – inspire.

The Academic Workshop – So much more than just tuition.

Our team of teachers all have many years of teaching experience under their belts, and have seen many cohorts of students through to important national examinations. We are rigorous in our approach to the curriculum and expect the best of our students. At the same time, we believe there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ approach to teaching, and so, our teachers are always open to consultation. We are proud to say that over the years, our students have come to regard us not simply as classroom teachers, but also as mentors and friends.
