Ms Ong is a former banking professional who boldly stepped away from her career to focus on raising her three children. Over the past 12 years, she has immersed herself in education—regularly engaging with teachers and educators to develop unique teaching methods tailored to the learning styles of primary school children.

With dedication and commitment, she guided her three children to become top PSLE performers, securing spots in Singapore’s top prestigious schools. This journey towards excellence allowed her to understand students’ challenges and how to overcome them.

Driven by a passion for education and a belief that every child deserves a strong academic foundation, she started Empowered Learner, an online tuition platform to support students from all backgrounds.

Empowered Learner collaborates with ex-MOE teachers to offers affordable and high-quality courses and programmes that equip students with the skills they need to succeed independently, all from the comfort of their homes.
