At Sprout, we believe in the philosophy of Whole Language Approach to the teaching of Chinese language, where learning is a cognitive experience unique to each learner’s own perspective and prior knowledge. We place emphasis on the quality of learning, that learning should not be a means to an end, but an end in itself, where the essence lies in the process of inquiry and learning, and not just results
At Sprout, we believe reading is the foundation of all learning, including that of Chinese language. The reading of high quality stories and literature forms the core of our curriculum. Our classes are also tailor-made to ensure each student’s learning experience at Sprout is maximized.

My 2 children have been attending Sprout since last year. They are taking Chinese and math lessons. The centre focuses a lot on Chinese reading which my children enjoy it... Read more a lot on Chinese reading which my children enjoy it a lot. They learn a lot through reading. For math lessons, the centre focuses on heuristics and the teachers guide them patiently and slowly build up their foundation. Teachers are also very patient and kind. Thank you, Sprout!

Read more The teachers have been incredibly dedicated, fostering not only his Chinese language skills but also a genuine love for reading and Chinese literature. They've worked tirelessly to prepare him for PSLE, and we're so grateful for their efforts. He went from an AL6 in prelims to an AL4 in PSLE – a fantastic improvement! A huge thank you to Yao Laoshi and all the teachers who've supported him along the way. Highly recommend Sprouts to any parent looking for a dedicated and effective Chinese language school.
