Read more my English, specifically in my writing skills and time management, but with her help, I gradually improved and went from a grade 5 to a grade 2 in my N-levels. She is also an efficient marker and will not hesitate to correct you on mistakes. I learnt a lot from her and I would highly recommend students, who are struggling with English, to go to her for help.

Ms Juliana taught me for three years & have always encouraged me. She is a very understanding teacher & patient teacher. She always asked if I needed extra help and made sure I understand before moving on. Not only that, Ms Juliana would give me encouraging talks when I feel like I couldn’t make it and reminded me not to give up. Mr Gerry taught me social studies for 7 months & helped my social studies improved by a lot. He is patient & caring teacher. He helped my social studies grade improve a lot from a fail to now a B3. Read more so by keenly paying attention to each students’ progress, as well as providing insightful feedback and suggestions. I remember the time when she sacrificed some of her precious break time just to read my essay and providing feedback on how I can improve my writing skills. Mrs Er also actively promotes reading as a way of building up students’ contextual knowledge which is vital for examinations. She is a dedicated and passionate teacher who will make sure that every student can realise their full potential in learning the English Language. I am proud to recommend her and I am confident that she will provide a positive, lasting impact on your child/ward just as she has had on me.

Read more analytical skills in my comprehension, which impeded my ability to excel in English despite working relatively hard. Mrs Er understood the issue at hand, and gave me a variety of English compo questions to work on, before marking them and even going the extra mile to returning them on the same day. Her comments deepened my understanding of the logic behind writing argumentative essays, and nurtured my flair for writing - such that writing nuanced and convincing arguments with elegance soon became an easy feat. In terms of comprehension skills, Mrs Er readily gave out comprehension practices and went through them meticulously with us. Once done, she unpacked the questions thoroughly and explained how the answers were derived, making sure to remind us to think from the author's shoes. Mrs Er's unique style of teaching, as well as her approachable nature and friendly demeanour, enabled me to achieve my A2 for English O levels :). I truly recommend Mrs Er to anyone who is eager to improve their English grades for the better!
