This has definitely helped them greatly as they aced through their Primary School English journey smoothly. Ms Van (as she’s affectionately known) is also a very approachable and patient teacher whom the kids can turn to for further explanation or help when needed.

My daughter has been learning English with Mrs Liu since she was in K2 in 2020. At the start, she struggled with presentations and reading. But in time, presentations became... Read more struggled with presentations and reading. But in time, presentations became a fun activity for her and reading was a channel for her to gain knowledge and learn interesting things. Having been exposed to good presentation and oral skills, she was awarded with Best Orator Award in P1 and P2. That really boosted her confidence and public speaking was less daunting for her. In addition, her increased stock of vocabulary of "bigger" words, similes and idioms has helped her express herself better in writing and speaking. Most importantly, she never fails to look forward to her English lessons every week and always comes out smiling, happy and chatty. Naturally, it was a no-brainer to join Mrs Liu at The Rowan Tree. This year, my daughter won best writer’s award in her class in school. This would have been possible without the creative writing training at Rowan Tree. Also, her grasp of complicated grammar rules have improved tremendously. As a parent, I am confident that she will continue to thrive in English. It's my daughter's fifth year learning with Mrs Liu and we look forward to happy learning with many more.
