However, after a few months, I picked up new techniques (like personification, hyperbole, vocab etc.) and my composition jumped from a 27/40 to 36/40. Teacher Farhana and Teacher Sally were really helpful and would patiently answer any questions I had. I used to be an AL3-4 student, I managed to clinch an AL1 for my PSLE. Every lesson, she always imparts her invaluable knowledge in our class and her steady guidance is what got me here in the first place and truly, I am really grateful for Teacher Natasha. Furthermore, she always goes the extra mile for our class by giving us extra drills and practices and whenever we ask questions about what we do not understand, she answers without fail and she will try to help us in every way to push us to greater heights. Her superpower is definitely her vast knowledge, never ceasing cheerful demeanour and her motivation she gives us whenever we feel we are not good enough. For me, the most memorable lesson was one that I had written an independent compo and told Teacher Natasha that if she cried reading it, she would give me 37 and above. Even though she did not actually cry, she genuinely gave me a 37. Most of all, I am grateful that I have such an awesome teacher. Thank you, Teacher Natasha, for all the help you have given me. It is not just like one way teaching but it's always participating approach is used. She welcomes our idea with open-mindedness. When a student has a guide like the lighthouse in the sea to guide the ships, she is my lighthouse, which guided me in my journey of improvement in English creative writing.
